Vias Méditerranée, un village coloré et festif au cœur des domaines
viticoles, de longues plages baignées de soleil et plus de 20 circuits VTT
entre Hérault, Canal du Midi et Méditerranée !
Vias a pour origine la colonisation romaine du terroir. Au fil des siècles
et des événements, le village acquiert sa physionomie actuelle avec cette
particularité que lui confère l’utilisation de la pierre noire volcanique dans
les constructions. Découvrez son patrimoine architectural, notamment
l’église gothique du XVème siècle, les portes serliennes, la halle couverte,
en suivant à pied le circuit aménagé au cœur de la ville. Le point de départ
est situé sur le parvis de l’Eglise St Jean-Baptiste.

Vias Méditerranée, a colored and festive village surrounded by
vineyards, long beaches bathed by the sun and by more than 20
mountain bike circuits between the Hérault, the Canal du Midi and the
Mediterranean Sea!
Vias was originating from the Roman colonisation of the local region.
Throughout the centuries and events, the village acquired its current
appearance with the particularity which the use of the black volcanic stone
confers in the majority of buildings. Discover the architectural heritage of
Vias, notably the gothic Church of the 15th century, the covered halle or
the many doors from the 17th century, by following the circuit on foot
designed to take you through the heart of the town. The departure point is
situated on the square in front of the St Jean-Baptiste church.
